Emirates Fake Ticket Scam Surge Halts Social Media Ads

Emirates has issued a strong warning to customers about a rising number of fraudulent advertisements circulating on various social media platforms. These deceptive ads are tricking users into purchasing fake tickets, sharing personal information, or clicking on malicious links.

The airline revealed that scammers are mimicking Emirates’ official branding, using fake visuals and links that appear legitimate. In response, Emirates has temporarily suspended all advertising campaigns across social media channels to protect its customers and brand integrity.

“We are working closely with social media platforms to identify and take down these fake ads swiftly — often within minutes,” Emirates said in a statement.

Travelers are advised to be vigilant and only use Emirates’ official website or verified channels for bookings and information.
