Danube Announces Shahrukhz Tower in Honour of Shah Rukh Khan
Dubai has unveiled a landmark commercial skyscraper named after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The 55-storey Shahrukhz Tower by Danube , located on Sheikh Zayed Road, is set to become a premium business and lifestyle destination in the heart of Dubai. Developed by Danube Group, the project features a life-size statue of Shah Rukh Khan in his iconic open-arms pose at the entrance, making it a unique blend of luxury, commerce, and celebrity tribute.
With over one million square feet of built-up space, the tower will offer more than 40 premium amenities, including a sky pool, business lounges, valet services, and even a helipad. The developers are also planning an air taxi station, aligning with Dubai’s vision for futuristic urban mobility. Commercial units are expected to start at around $460,000, making it accessible for new businesses and entrepreneurs.
The grand launch event was held in Mumbai, attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Danube Group founder Rizwan Sajan, and filmmaker Farah Khan. The actor expressed pride in the project, sharing that it was a dream come true and a tribute to those who come to Dubai with big aspirations. The name “Shahrukhz” will remain permanently associated with this tower, ensuring its legacy as a landmark for years to come.
Construction is underway, with the tower expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2029. The project is valued at approximately ₹4,000 crore ($480 million) and is positioned as a Grade-A commercial address in Dubai’s most prominent business corridor.
