Emirates Introduces Spotify Onboard for Passengers
Emirates airline has partnered with Spotify to offer passengers a new audio experience, now accessible on flights to over 140 destinations. Through Emirates’ ICE inflight entertainment system, travelers can enjoy Spotify’s extensive selection of podcasts and playlists right from their seat.
Spotify’s curated content on Emirates includes a diverse range of podcasts available in English, Portuguese, Tagalog, and German, with plans to add Spanish and Hindi in 2025. Passengers can tune into popular series like What Now? with Trevor Noah, featuring insightful celebrity interviews, or The Bill Simmons Podcast, where sports and pop culture topics are discussed with well-known guests like Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler, and Larry David.
Additionally, Spotify’s top playlists are available as mixtapes crafted by Spotify’s editorial team. Highlights include RapCaviar for hip-hop enthusiasts, Viva Latino for a lively Latin mix, All Out 90s for nostalgic hits, and classics-focused playlists like Arabic Classics and Jazz Classics.
Emirates will regularly update its Spotify selection, adding new music and podcasts to its existing library of over 3,500 hours of entertainment, further enhancing the onboard experience for its passengers.
