Taxi drivers are reportedly reluctant to take airport trips due to the long distance to the city and high toll charges. As a result, passengers often have to wait anywhere from 20 to 90 minutes to get a ride.
Some users have suggested alternatives to avoid the long waits, including using the KIAL airport bus service or hopping on BMTC buses, which are considered more reliable and efficient for those heading to various parts of Bengaluru.
This long-standing issue has sparked conversation online, with some users proposing solutions such as low-rise AC buses running regularly between the airport and the city. Despite these suggestions, passengers continue to struggle with the inconvenience of limited transport options at the airport.
