Air India Express Expands flights to Abu Dhabi and beyond

Air India Express is expanding its services, making travel between the UAE and India more convenient. Starting February 4, the airline will introduce new routes to destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Dammam, responding to the increasing demand from UAE travelers.

The UAE-India corridor is one of the world’s busiest, serving millions of passengers, and this expansion will offer more choices for frequent flyers. Currently, Air India Express connects 19 cities in India to 13 Middle Eastern destinations with 450 weekly flights. The airline aims to reach over 50 destinations, including popular locations like Bangkok and Phuket.

This expansion provides more affordable and accessible travel options for expats and families alike. Additionally, the airline is offering improved baggage allowances. Economy passengers can now enjoy a 30kg check-in allowance, along with 7kg across two carry-ons and space for a laptop bag or backpack. Families traveling with infants will receive an extra 10kg, totaling 47kg.

For lighter travel, the budget-friendly Xpress Lite option offers lower fares and a 3kg cabin baggage allowance, with the option to pre-book additional weight if needed. Business travelers can benefit from the Xpress Biz option, which includes a 40kg baggage allowance for international flights.

With this expansion and enhanced services, Air India Express provides even more travel choices for passengers in Abu Dhabi and beyond.
