Indian Expat Becomes UAE Lottery’s First Dh1 Million Winner
Peer Mohammad Adam, a 41-year-old Indian expat, has become the first-ever winner of the Dh1 million UAE Lottery prize.
Adam, who works as a senior electrician with a public utility company in Dubai, entered the draw with a group of 20 friends. “We decided to pool our money and buy tickets together. This was my first time playing The UAE Lottery—and I got lucky!” he said.
He personally selected the numbers for all 20 tickets under his account. “One of our tickets matched the winning numbers, and we couldn’t believe it! We plan to split the Dh1 million prize equally among us,” he added.
Overwhelmed by his win, Adam said, “I was speechless when I found out. I still can’t believe it, but I’m extremely happy.”
As for his plans, he intends to support his family and friends, donate a portion to charity, and carefully decide how to use the rest of the money.
He expressed his confidence in The UAE Lottery, saying, “Knowing that it is licensed and regulated makes me feel secure while playing. I will definitely try my luck again—maybe next time, I’ll win the Dh100 million jackpot!”
Adam also had advice for fellow lottery players: “Play responsibly, stick to your budget, and don’t exceed your limits. If you never try, you’ll never know—so keep trying, and maybe one day, you’ll get lucky!”
