Singapore Offers Vouchers and Discounts for Indian Passport Holders

To mark the 60th anniversary of strong ties between India and Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is rolling out special offers for Indian passport holders. In an exclusive interview, Consul-General Cheong Ming Foong and STB Regional Director Markus Tan shared the exciting initiatives aimed at further strengthening the bond between the two countries.

In recent years, Singapore has seen significant growth in Indian visitors, with 1.2 million tourists arriving in 2024 compared to 1.07 million in 2023. India ranks as the third-largest source market for Singapore, and with ongoing momentum, this trend is expected to continue in 2025.

To celebrate this milestone, Singapore is offering a range of rewards exclusively for Indian tourists. These include SG$10 eCapitaVouchers as a welcome gift at participating CapitaLand malls, as well as the opportunity for Mastercard cardholders to earn up to SG$45 in eCapitaVouchers with a minimum purchase at CapitaLand malls. Additional perks await Indian travelers at Changi Airport and ION Orchard, where they can enjoy various discounts and vouchers.

Furthermore, Indian tourists can avail themselves of special offers at Jewel Changi Airport and Mustafa, receiving surprise gifts and additional discounts simply by presenting their passports.

In addition to these exclusive offers, the STB is launching consumer-facing initiatives such as The Gamechangers Studio and 60 Insiders to celebrate the deep cultural connections between the two countries.

Recognizing the increasing connectivity between India and Singapore, STB is working closely with airline partners to ensure the accessibility and sustainability of flights for Indian travelers. Moreover, Singapore is witnessing a surge in cruise tourism, with plans to grow in conjunction with the launch of Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, the Disney Adventure, which will homeport in Singapore for the next five years.

As India and Singapore continue to strengthen their relationship, these exclusive offers and initiatives serve as a testament to the enduring bond between the two countries.
