Learn Arabic through ZHIC Remote Courses

Are you an expat looking to learn Arabic? The Zayed House of Islamic Culture (ZHIC) offers Arabic language courses for non-native speakers, available both remotely and in person. Registration is done through Tamm, Abu Dhabi’s official government services platform.

Course Structure

ZHIC’s Arabic courses are structured into different levels:

  • Basic level
  • Levels 1 to 5 (each consisting of 80 teaching hours)

Classes are available in both online and in-person formats. If you prefer attending in person, locations include Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Al Ain.

Teaching Approach

The curriculum is designed in collaboration with international universities, incorporating a unique method that links Arabic alphabets to learners’ native language phonetics. Instruction is available in multiple languages, including:

  • English, Hindi, Russian, Tagalog, Amharic, French, Sinhala, Arabic, and Mandarin

Documents Required

  • Passport or visa
  • Emirates ID

How to Register

  1. Visit the Tamm website or mobile app.
  2. Click on Services and select Individual Services.
  3. Navigate to Culture and Leisure, then choose Culture Workshops.
  4. Select Registration for Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages Courses.
  5. Sign in with UAE Pass and choose your preferred level, language, schedule, and mode of learning (remote or in-person).
