Dubai Welcomes Indian Unicorn CEOs for Collaboration Talks
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, met with over 40 founders and CEOs of Indian unicorn companies on Wednesday to explore new avenues for collaboration and investment.
The meeting, held as part of the World Governments Summit – Griffin Dialogue, was also attended by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance of the UAE. Participants were members of the Griffin Club for Indian Billionaire Entrepreneurs, a network of leading Indian startup founders. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that cross-sector and cross-border partnerships are central to Dubai’s forward-looking vision. He highlighted the emirate’s commitment to fostering international cooperation that supports economic growth and builds a prosperous future.
Sheikh Hamdan added that Dubai’s continued economic development offers quality investment opportunities, positioning the emirate as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
The meeting reflects Dubai’s strategy to strengthen global startup ecosystems, encouraging partnerships that drive innovation, technology adoption, and long-term business collaboration between the UAE and international markets.
