Dubai’s New Year’s Eve celebration is back—bigger, brighter, and more spectacular than ever! The iconic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, will once again host one of the planet’s most breathtaking fireworks and light shows. And this year comes with an exciting Bollywood twist!
Emaar Properties has teamed up with Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan, whose production company Red Chillies Entertainment is curating the cinematic magic. Expect Bollywood-style drama, music and visual storytelling lighting up Downtown Dubai like never before.

Eight Days of Festivities
The celebrations run from December 31 to January 7, featuring a full week of live entertainment, artistic performances, aerial shows and vibrant parades weaving through Downtown Dubai. Most events are free for the public.
The Grand Fireworks Show
New Year’s Eve remains the highlight, with a breathtaking fusion of fireworks, LED displays, lasers, music and fountain choreography surrounding the 828-metre architectural marvel. The atmosphere turns into an open-air festival with live shows and music leading up to midnight.
Best Free Viewing Spots
You can enjoy the Burj Khalifa fireworks and light show without spending a dirham—just arrive early! Public viewing zones with clear tower sightlines will be set up across Downtown Dubai, accessible on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free public viewing access gates:
- Gate 1: Boulevard Heights
- Gate 2: Burj Vista
- Gate 3: Emaar Square
- Gate 4: Former Address Boulevard
- Gate 5: Fountain Views
- Gate 6: Address Downtown
- Gate 7: Vida Dubai Mall
Tip: Arrive before 4:00 PM as areas fill up quickly and gates close once full.
Getting There
Road closures begin around 4 PM. The Dubai Metro is the best transport option — but popular stations may temporarily close for crowd safety. If Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station is closed, get off at Business Bay or Financial Centre.
LED screens will also broadcast the spectacle across major boulevards for those further away.
Bring comfortable shoes, water, snacks — and lots of patience!

Gates open from midday, and families with strollers must use Gate 20. Ticket holders will receive both a badge and a wristband for controlled entry.
Badges can be collected from Dubai Mall or Dubai Hills Mall from Dec 26–30.
