Walk-In Indian Consular Services Now Available at 16 Alhind Centres in UAE

Indian Consular Walk-In Services in UAE are now available at all 16 Indian Consular Application Centres operated by Alhind Tours and Travels. The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced that eligible applicants can visit these centres without a prior appointment for selected passport, visa, attestation and other consular services.

The walk-in facility is available from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for eligible applicants across the UAE.

Who is Eligible for Walk-In Services?

The walk-in facility is available for the following applicants:

  • Tatkal passport applicants
  • New-born cases
  • Emergency Certificate applicants
  • Senior citizens
  • People of Determination

The Indian Embassy has advised applicants to continue booking online appointments whenever possible. Walk-in applicants will be accepted depending on the availability of slots at individual centres.

Alhind Indian Consular Centres in UAE

Indian passport, visa, attestation and other consular services in the UAE have been handled by Alhind Tours and Travels since July 22, 2026.

Alhind operates 16 Indian Consular Application Centres across the UAE, with regular service timings from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The special walk-in facility for eligible applicants is available between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Alhind Consular Service Charge

Applicants are required to pay an AED 19 service charge, inclusive of VAT, in addition to the applicable Indian government fees.

The AED 19 service charge covers several related services, including:

  • Form filling
  • Photograph
  • Document typing
  • Domestic courier
  • Printouts
  • Photocopies

New Indian Passport Fees

The Indian government has revised passport fees from July 1, 2026, marking the first increase in 14 years since 2012.

Under the new fee structure, a fresh or reissued 36-page ordinary passport costs Rs2,500 under the normal scheme and Rs5,000 under the Tatkaal scheme, compared with the previous fees of Rs1,500 and Rs3,500, respectively.

For NRIs, the revised charges are $125 for normal and $250 for Tatkaal, up from $75 and $225, respectively.

For a fresh or reissued 60-page passport, the new fee is Rs3,500 under the normal scheme and Rs6,000 under Tatkaal, compared with the earlier charges of Rs2,000 and Rs4,000.

For NRIs, the revised fees are $175 for normal and $300 for Tatkaal, up from $100 and $250, respectively.

Applicants planning to use Indian consular services in the UAE are advised to check appointment availability and the latest applicable fees before visiting an Alhind centre.
