Sharjah Expat Wins Dh20 Million in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket Draw
An Indian expatriate living in Sharjah, Prince Kolassery Sebastian, has won an astounding Dh20 million in Abu Dhabi’s Big Ticket draw, held on Sunday night. Originally from Kerala in southern India, Sebastian’s winning ticket number, 197281, was drawn for the top prize. He had purchased the ticket on October 4 as part of a group entry with ten colleagues.
After learning of his win through a friend’s call, Sebastian admitted he initially found it hard to believe, as he hadn’t been watching the live draw. “I still can’t believe it,” he told the show presenters Richard and Bouchra, who announced the winning numbers live. “I’m getting so many calls, and I still have to think about how to use the prize money.”
Sebastian has lived in the UAE for the past eight years, and this win marks a significant milestone for him and his friends who participated in the group ticket purchase.
