Titan’s Tanishq Set to Integrate Dubai’s Damas Jewellery Within 6 Months

India’s Titan Company, owner of Tanishq, will complete the integration of Dubai-based jeweller Damas within the next 3–6 months, following its acquisition of a 67% stake for $280 million from Qatar’s Mannai Corporation.

The deal gives Titan immediate access to Damas’ 146 stores and a jewellery manufacturing facility in Dubai, significantly boosting its Gulf presence.

“Damas will retain its brand identity, while Tanishq continues expanding,” said Niraj Bhakare, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Titan. “We may convert a few Damas stores into Tanishq outlets where strategically viable.”

Bhakare confirmed no major disruption to Damas’ skilled workforce and emphasized a collaborative integration focused on long-term growth.

This move marks a rare acquisition-led expansion in the region’s jewellery sector, offering Tanishq a rapid scale-up in markets it previously had limited access to.
