UAE Visa on Arrival for Indian Passport Holders with US, UK, or EU Visas

Indian passport holders with valid US, UK, or EU tourist visas or resident permits can now easily obtain a visa on arrival in the UAE. This article covers eligibility, costs, duration, and the online application process.


Eligibility
Indian nationals and their family members with ordinary passports are eligible if they hold:

  • A valid tourist visa, residence permit, or Green Card issued by the United States.
  • A valid tourist visa or residence permit issued by any EU country or the UK.
    (Note: The visa, permit, and passport must all have at least six months of validity.)

Visa Duration

  • 14-day Visa: Extendable for another 14 days (fees apply).
  • 60-day Visa: Non-extendable, ideal for longer stays.

Costs

  • 14-day visa: Dh100
  • 14-day extension: Dh250
  • 60-day visa: Dh250

How to Apply
You need to apply online before traveling. Choose one of these methods:

  1. GDRFA Dubai – For arrivals in Dubai (gdrfad.gov.ae).
  2. Emirates Pre-Approved Visa – Available for Emirates passengers.
  3. ICP Website – smartservices.icp.gov.ae.
  4. Travel Agency.

Documents Required

  • Valid Indian passport (at least six months valid).
  • Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background.
  • Valid tourist visa or residence permit from the US, UK, or EU.

Application Process

  • GDRFA Dubai: Register at gdrfad.gov.ae, submit details and documents, and receive the visa within 48 hours.
  • ICP: Apply at smartservices.icp.gov.ae, submit documents, and receive the visa within 48 hours.
  • Emirates Pre-Approved Visa: Apply through Emirates’ ‘Manage Your Booking’ section.
