Abu Dhabi Student Wins Johns Hopkins Grand Honors

Arjun Abhinav Patwardhan, just 12 years old, has earned the prestigious Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) Grand Honors Award after scoring an outstanding 750 out of 800 in SAT Maths.

The Abu Dhabi student achieved a total SAT score of 1290 while competing against students typically aged 16 and above. Even more impressive, Arjun prepared entirely on his own without attending any coaching classes or hiring private tutors.

The eighth-grader said he relied on practice tests from the College Board website to prepare for the challenging exam. His achievement places him among a very small number of students in the UAE to receive this globally recognised honour for exceptional academic talent.
