The revised charges cover fresh passport applications, renewals, Tatkaal services, lost or damaged passports, Police Clearance Certificates (PCC), and several other consular services.

Additional Charges
Applicants should note that the above fees do not include:
- Service charges collected by the outsourced service provider

These additional charges will be payable separately wherever applicable.
Why Have Passport Fees Increased?
The revised passport charges form part of the Government of India’s initiative to standardise passport service fees across Indian diplomatic missions worldwide. The latest revision is the first major fee update in nearly 14 years, with the previous revision having taken place in 2012.
The revised fee structure also coincides with the rollout of the new outsourced consular service provider across the UAE from July 1, 2026.
